The case is solid polished and lacquered brass and fitted with an 8 day mechanical movement which has an 11 Jewelled platform escapement and strikes the Maritime 8 bell sequence. There is a night shut off lever and + or - regulator lever at the top of the dial which are accessable via the bevelled glass opening front door.
Case back size is 180mm diameter, depth is 90mm.
